Pumpkins!

I thought the hard part of getting pumpkins carved was actually buying the pumpkins.

Turns out I was wrong. A month after buying them, they're still sitting on our kitchen table ...


Oh well. They make a nice "harvest" decoration, I guess.

Put them in the oven at 400 degrees and bake until soft and you will have yummy squash when you open it up and remove the seeds and strings. Maybe 45 minutes for the little one and 75 minutes for the big one. Or make a pie with it.
