I got a call from my brilliant 5 year old sister today and I thought I'd share a bit of our conversation:
Brinley: I'm turning 6 in 5 days!
Brooke: You can't turn 6. I can't have a 6 year old sister.
Brinley: Yes you can!
Brooke: No I can't. Because I was 19 when you were born and then if you turn 6 that means I'll have to turn 25! Do you know how old that is?
Brinley: No.
Brooke: It's a QUARTER OF A CENTURY. SOO OLD!
Brinley: (In a completely desperate and empathizing voice) That's awful!
Ha. I had to laugh at that. I highly doubt she thinks my soon to be age is much of anything. But I do love her for playing a good little sister and pretending she feels bad for me!

25 old, ha! i will be 35 this year but i don't feel old yet.
