4 Months Old!

Colt had his four month appointment this week.

Post shots, our little guy was running a fever and obviously didn't feel well at all.

On the plus side, it's always fun to see his growth stats!

He is now 13 lbs 11 oz, putting him in the 13th percentile. He's 24.61 inches which puts him in the 21st percentile for height and his head, at 41.7 cm puts him at 48th percentile.

The moral of the story is, he's growing!

His personality is showing a little more each day. I love waking up to his yells of awakeness. He still sleeps really well. Although, the last few days haven't been his best. I think he may be starting to teeth or else he's just got a bit of the cold I have. Either way, I'll take a bebe waking up at 4:30 and then 7:30 over one that wakes up every hour (like his big brother!)

Speaking of big brothers - Colt loves his. There is no one in this house that can guarantee a smile out of our Colt like his brother, Dragon. He will definitely be Dragon's shadow once he gets on his feet.

He does this little half roll onto his side to see the world but he hasn't quite made the complete leap to rolling. He's also slowly developing his core muscles and I'm pretty sure he'll be sitting up in a month or two, if not sooner.

His laugh is infectious and he manages to keep his brother out of a lot of trouble. Well, not OUT of trouble but he keeps him from getting in too much. When I start to get angry, Colt will either start crying from the rise in my voice--which takes my attention away from my mischievous two-year-old, or he'll just be so cute I can't be mad at anybody anymore.

Sadly, he is not a fan of cuddling, despite my numerous attempts to force it. He also is only partially enthused about tummy time but he loves his Daddy time. And a smiling face will almost always result in a returned smile. He is a very happy little boy.

In short, life is good. In fact, life is great with our little Colt in it. And it just gets better and better every day. Yay for beautiful baby boys! (Especially ones that sleep 10 hours straight each night! ... Usually.)

So cute and so big both of them are! Do you find it interesting to be raising boys when you grew up with girls? I do. Well I have one brother but he's a lot younger than me. Most of my memories involve me and my sisters. Now I have three boys and it's like I've just come to really know and understand them by raising them. Lol
