On Saturday, Ben and I went up to my mom's house to help her throw a Fancy Nancy Birthday party for Brinley.
All her friends came dressed up fancy. They brought a fancy show and tell and they learned to eat fancy things and say fancy words and walk a fancy walk.
We made little flower sandwiches and we cut out jello shaped like a flower and for those who didn't like how the "food smells weird" they got a "flower" hot dog on a plate.
I think the cutest thing I watched all the little girls do was balance a banana on their head while walking around the house.
I also enjoyed playing "Get Fancy" (the Fancy Nancy version of Go Fish) with my grandma, Ben, and a little girl named Tricia. Because I would say "Grandma, do you have any ___", Tricia started calling her grandma too. It was really cute.
By the time we got home on Saturday I was beat and I needed a nice long nap.

I still think we've been married long enough that I don't have to go to stuff like that with you anymore.
