I was laying in bed about a week ago trying to fall asleep and the little guy was just kicking up a storm so I pulled out the video on my phone and decided to record it for a few minutes.
To other people it is probably not an exciting video but it's something I'd like to remember for a long long time. I love the feeling of him kicking me. I hope it's a sign that he's growing bigger and stronger.
Every time I watch it I giggle a little because I can't help but imagine those movies when an alien parasite starts to grow and move underneath the person's skin. Or, for example, in The Mummy when those beetle bugs burrow in. These movements I feel and see definitely remind me of that. Luckily, I know what sort of parasite I have living under my skin. And it's one that I'm already completely in love with and I haven't even met him yet.
So before you watch this video, I just have to say that I apologize for the fact that in order to see Baby Newman's kicks you also have to stare at my side/stomach for a full minute and a half. Right around :30 he gets really active and then dies down towards the end so ... watch it at your own risk. If you dare.

Ha ha! I love that you took video of your belly! Being pregnant is such an amazing and wonderful and freaky experience.
Awwww, I love that. The best part of being pregnant.
That is so weird!!! It really does look like aliens have invaded your body. Sick! I hope I appreciate it more when it is happening to me. I just felt mine wiggling around for the first time a few days ago a LOT and it creeped me out. It also is a reminder that she is there and alive and getting strong.
Isn't that the coolest thing!!! You're takin' me back sister!
