With our trip to Utah and Ben's family reunion we have lots to blog about and as a result I'm finding it hard to blog at all. So ... I'll blog about the most inconsequential thing we've done all month.
This morning we woke up at 6am and went on a walk around the neighborhood. Ben described it perfectly. It felt like we were camping. There was that cool crispness in the air and not a whole lot of anyone else out and about. It was something I haven't experienced a whole lot since we moved to Seattle but it was very enjoyable.
Now, I'm sleepy and ready for a nap. I guess that's what getting up early does to a person.

Sometimes it is the simple and little things in life that can bring peace and happiness. Maybe I should get up at 6 am more often.
I love to get up early in the summer and then take a nap in the afternoon when it's too hot to be out.
