We (Ben, E! and myself) made it home! Leaving the hospital was sort of bizarre. I kept expecting someone to come tackle us and tell us we couldn't take E home with us. Turns out, we can ... and we did!
Right now, Ben and E are cuddling on the couch. Ben has been so amazing through all of this. I'm still so proud of him not passing out during the labor! And he even managed to cut the umbilical cord. His exact words were, "Yeah, it wasn't that big of a deal". (What I've been telling him for 8 months now!)
Anyway, I'll write more about the "birth story" later but I wanted to share a quick update and let people know we are alive.
Now, to try and get a nap in before E realizes it's time to eat.
