This was in our apartment last night

In order to find out what it was I googled "Spider Centipede" because that is what it looked like to me. Anyway, it's called a "House Centipede" and it eats spiders so it should be my friend but it's just way too creepy looking. So instead of having it killed like I would most bugs, I just had Ben dispose of it outside where it could keep all the spiders from getting in our apartment in the first place.

It still gives me shivers picturing it running across my foot or something. eek.

I don't think I've seen them at this house yet but we used to get those in the basement and the bathrooms at our houses in Maryland. I think we called them cave centipedes. Anyway, Yes! they are totally freaky. I always kill them when I find them. They would like come up through the pipes or something and surprise you in the shower. I got into the habit of throughly inspecting before I hopped in for a shower. At least they are not poisonous like the creepy ones in Hawaii that are even bigger. EEEEKKKK!!!! I am not afraid to kill bugs though. I get strange satisfaction from killing them for invading my home. If I saw it outside I might leave it alone, unless it was close to the house and I thouht it might come in.

G-ross! That's revolting. Ya' know scorpions eat spiders too, but they're not our friends. It's okay if this creepy, creepy guy isn't your friend either.

Even if he isn't poisonous.

That is truly creepy. I've never seen anything like that. Hopefully they don't live in my part of the country. Cockroaches are bad enough, but that thing is worse.

Hey! You have a blog, too! That is a SCARY BUG. I would've made Will kill it before I even thought of taking the time to look it up! One time when we were moving into our last apartment in Provo, I saw a spider on the wall and Ben set it free outside instead of killing it. He is truly a compassionate soul.

Also, of course I'll teach you how to make a blanket like that if you want! It's not hard at all!
